How does aging affect your skin?
As early as 20 years old, your face starts to age. Signs of aging include:
- The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Skin laxity (loosening and sagging skin), and
- Volume loss (your face looks more sunken and hollow)
The rate of aging and its effects depends on the individual. Preexisting skin conditions and lifestyle choices can affect skin aging to varying extents.
Factors within your control that hasten the aging process of the skin include:
- Sun exposure
- Alcohol consumption
- Poor diet
Aging skin begins in your 20s
“Motor winkles” are line creases that form over time with repeated movements like squinting and other facial expressions.
As you age, you lose facial glands, elastin, and other extracellular macromolecules. Your skin loses its volume and elasticity. As it starts to sag and stretch, more lines start to form, giving rise to the appearance of thin crepey skin.
Fat pads in your face will thin out, and hollows appear under your eyes.
In your 30s, if your skin takes further beatings from repeated UV damage from sun exposure without proper care, the resulting oxidation and stress take a toll.
Environmental damage from other sources may also increase pigmentation and roughen up your skin.
In your 50s and beyond, thinning and hollowing skin become more apparent. As your skin’s soft tissue starts to stretch and sag, your facial contours will soften, and your face will lose its firmness. Age spots will begin to show up.
Sagging skin, fine lines, and hollowing of the face
Ligaments and muscles around the eyes loosen with age.
As that happens, “hoods” in the eyelids develop, and the area under the eyes sag. The cheeks start to droop because of laxity in the SMAS layer that stretches over it. “Marionette” lines appear in the nasolabial folds. The contours around your jaw soften as the cheeks continue to sag, and finally — jowls appear.
Anatomy of the skin and the effects of aging
Types of aging skin issues
You can think of treatment for aging skin as targeting either of 2 levels of issues:
Level 1: Superficial issues
These can manifest as:
- Lax and thin crepey skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Loss of radiance and glow
Level 2: Deeper issues
These are signs of deeper underlying issues such as the stretching and loosening ligaments, including the SMAS layer and other muscles in the face.
- Hooding eyelids
- Hollowing, sagging undereye areas
- Sagging cheeks and deepening nasolabial folds
- Forming jowls
- Losing jaw contour

Option 1: Profhilo, the “Time-Reversing” Treatment
Profhilo treatment is the first-ever injectable skincare solution that treats loosening skin and other signs of aging. It stimulates collagen, elastin, and adipocyte stem cell production.
We administer treatment with only 5 tiny jabs per cheek!
Option 2: Rejuran, the “Baby Skin” Booster
If you’re looking to reclaim the smooth, baby-like skin of your youth — this one is for you.
Nicknamed “baby skin injection,” this booster shot uses polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA to stimulate collagen production and skin-healing molecule growth in your skin cells.
Experience youthful, taut, and radiant skin again!
Option 3: HIFU Skin Rejuvenation
HIFU (High-Intensity Frequency Ultrasound) is administered at a shallow depth in the skin (2mm) to stimulate skin cell growth in the dermal layer.
After treatment, your skin will become more taught, and wrinkles and fine lines will fade. Say goodbye to saggy skin and wrinkles!
HIFU V Lift and Contouring
You can do HIFU treatments with other face-lifting and contouring treatments to sharpen the face and jawline.
Surgical facelifts are expensive, painful, and require extended downtime. The risk of unnatural-looking outcomes can be relatively high too.
We use minimally-invasive solutions that achieve natural-looking results, which many of our customers are extremely satisfied with.
The treatment effect duration can last between 6-18 months, depending on the exact treatment used.
You can combine or repeat treatments with no risks nor side-effects.
Facial Threadlifts, AKA “Lunch-time” Facelift
A facial threadlift is nicknamed “lunch-time facelift” because the procedure is simple, doesn’t need anesthesia, and takes less than 1 hour.
To gather and lift sagging skin tissues, we use micro-needles to introduce PDO threads* to the face’s targeted areas.
*PDO is a dissolvable stitching material that the medical industry uses to stitch up surgical wounds. It is exceptionally safe and dissolves entirely in 3 months.
When the threads dissolve, new tissue will take over to hold things in place.
Option 4: AD3 PDRN Skin Rejuvenation, the “Needleless Rejuran”
This method allows an almost total infusion of super nutrients for the skin without using needles! Compared to traditional methods, AD3 Eletroporation can infuse up to 80% more nutrients, and it is on par with injection-based solutions.
AD3 uses PDRN, which contains anti-oxidative properties to:
- Alleviate cellular stress
- Suppress melanin production
- Reduce the breakdown of elastin and collagen
- Induce growth of the skin cells.
You don’t need botox or other whitening treatments that use heavy chemicals to achieve the crystal-clear and silky-smooth complexion you desire!
Option 5: RF Microneedling Skin Rejuvenation
A celebrity favorite, and for a good reason. Just look at how well Jennifer Anniston and Amanda Holden are holding up!
This is part of a highly recommended skin-maintenance routine, done every 2-3 months.
We use microneedles to send radiofrequency waves into the dermis, inducing a controlled micro-injury radius to kickstart repair mechanisms in the cell.
This triggers collagen production, which fills up the scars, then helps to tighten, lift, and plump up your skin to restore that youthful look!
Option 6: RF Diamond Polar Lift
This dual-action treatment uses magnetic resonance to boost skin circulation while radiofrequency waves work to tighten and lift your skin.
This treatment has the added benefit of reducing jowls, so if that’s a concern for you — this is your best bet. Not only does it tighten and lift your skin, but it also subtly contours your jowls.
For maintenance, this is usually done every 2 months with your regular facials.
Option 7: Picolaser Skin Rejuvenation
A hot favorite among the youth due to its ability to repair early skin pigmentation and skin damage. We use short pulses of Picolaser to stimulate repair responses in the dermis, restoring smooth and bright skin.
